Our strategy is to mobilize a team of ministry specialists who offer relevant teaching, workshops, resources, and support that local ministries find difficult to offer for themselves.

A shared foundation: Pando stands as the world’s largest living organism, with over 40,000 individual stems growing from its expansive roots. In the same way, STM draws strength from our shared foundation in Christ and our vision to help His kingdom grow.

Diversity of gifts: Each of our ministry specialists bring unique gifts, experiences, and abilities to the table, enabling us to serve Christian ministries in a variety of ways.

A growing network: Our vision is to expand this living network, adding ministry specialists to our team who share our rootedness in Christ and commitment to see lives changed through the power of the gospel.

PRAYER: Faithful, persistent prayer brings God glory by helping establish His will on earth as it is in heaven. We are people of prayer, dependent on the Holy Spirit to do His will.

PARTNERSHIP: God partners with us, so we partner with people and ministries who share the same mission under King Jesus. We love the wider body of Christ and are focused on helping its various expressions thrive.

EMPOWERMENT: We value equipping, empowering, and commissioning kingdom-minded, ‘spiritual entrepreneurs’ to do what God has called them to do. We aren’t just looking for impact, but empowerment and multiplication.

We are all sinful and broken in our orientation towards God, ourselves, our world, and each other.

God loved us so much that he sent his Son Jesus—fully God and fully man—to enter the human story as our only hope and redeemer.

Christ lived the perfect life we could never live, becoming the spotless sacrifice we could never earn. After dying for our sins, he defeated sin, death, and the devil through his resurrection from the dead.

Ascending to the right hand of the Father, the Lord Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit to indwell, empower, and commission us to join this redemptive mission. His redeemed, gathered, and sent children are the global Church—Christ’s spiritual body here on earth.

One day God’s mission will be complete, uniting believers with him forever to enjoy a renewed heaven and earth.

More than 30 years ago, Randy Carter took a radical leap of faith to trust Jesus with his dream.

STM Ministries grew from that simple step of faith, and we’re just getting started.

Pando illustrates our vision for STM Ministries—a growing and diverse team of ministry specialists united by our passion to serve Jesus.
