In 1993, a Youth Pastor named Randy Carter felt God’s direction to move out of local church youth ministry to begin traveling as a youth speaker and youth ministry consultant.

STM Ministries was founded that year as a registered charitable organization, freeing Randy to pursue this calling. July 1st, 1994 Randy stepped into STM full time, speaking primarily to students. 

Randy’s wife, Donna, joined STM in 2001, as God opened up exciting opportunities to travel, speaking to women’s groups and mixed audiences. She authored several books, including 10 Smart Things Women Can Do To Build A Better Life, Friend Me, and Kick the Boring Out of Your Life. Randy and Donna also speak at marriage conferences and retreats.

Over the years God has used this incredible couple to lead thousands of people to put their faith in Christ, renew their faith, and to revive countless marriages. Randy and Donna continue to serve Jesus with joy in a Contractor role within STM.

STM stepped into a brand new chapter in June of 2023, when Brad Huebert joined the STM team and began Deeply Devoted, a new ministry aimed at helping people grow intimacy with God, one day at a time. Also an author, Brad published Deeply Devoted: How to grow intimacy with God Through Daily Devotions That Change Your Life and Bring You Joy the following year, adding to his list of other books. He also began leading his highly rated Deeply Devoted workshops in local churches.

During this time, Randy and Donna discerned it was time to step back and begin serving on a part time basis. The STM Board unanimously affirmed Brad as the Executive Director of STM in June of 2025.

A clarified vision for STM’s future also emerged: to serve the body of Christ by helping Christian organizations fulfill the Great Commission. We do this through a team of ministry specialists who offer resources, workshops, and support churches may struggle to provide in house.
